For as long as I can remember, the dream of farming has been a part of my soul. It wasn't just a career idea; it was a deeply rooted aspiration, nourished by the memories of my early childhood.

My family, on both my mother and father's sides, were farming families from small villages nestled in the coastal region of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. My summers were spent at my grandparents' homes with a chaos of cousins, and our days revolved around the rhythm of the land. I was fascinated by the lush rice fields, the shade of the mango trees, and the small ponds bordered by canals. This connection to the earth, the cycles of cultivation, and the joy of harvest left an indelible mark on me.

Life, as it often does, took me on a different path. I focused on my own family and career. But now, with both my children grown and setting out on their own, the time has come to pursue that long-held passion and finally fulfill my aspiration of being a farmer.

The Meaning of Blue Cloud Farms

This is more than just a farm; it is a family legacy.

When choosing the name for our endeavor, I wanted it to reflect the people who inspire me every day: my children.

The name Blue Cloud Farms is a tribute to them:

• Neel (My son's name) translates to Blue.
• Megha (My daughter's name) translates to Cloud.

Every saffron bulb we plant, every beautiful flower that blooms, is a testament to the love and support of our family. Everything you see on this farm was built not just with effort, but with the helping hands and hearts of our friends and family.
